Operational Planning

The Web project needs to include all the operational tools (those things needing to be physically accomplished) to achieve the strategic goal (or the long-term destination). When properly thought-out and planned, the project will be more efficient and costs will be better controlled.

A website which is not focused on a goal, or is not planned to detail will usually fail. The overall strategy may be clear, but the tools, techniques and methodology to achieve it need to be clearly thought through. This can be the most important part of the process.
